Emily J. Mick, M.Ed, LPC, LPC-S
"I have background and training working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of mental health needs. Most commonly, I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and/or life stressors affecting mental health. I have worked with Autism Spectrum and ADHD for many years both in children and adults, focusing on skills and tools for success. I also work often with members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, am a member of World Professional Association for Transgender Health, Inc. (WPATH), and ensure WPATH Standards of Care. Additionally, I am an LPC Supervisor and strive to help train more ethical and effective mental health professionals into the field of counseling. Those interested in LPC Candidate Supervision can contact me at our main number.
I also work with those who identify as women dealing with depression, anxiety, using a trademarked concept 'Bitches Have Boundaries' to unpack socialized and interpersonal belief systems resulting in lack of healthy boundaries and/or codependent behaviors, and developing new replacement beliefs and skills to have better interpersonal relationships and self-worth when asserting healthy boundaries."

Maddi Goodman, M.Ed., LPC
"I have been practicing as a therapist for many years, helping individuals with anxiety, depression, and PTSD connect to themselves and important people in their life by healing persistent past hurts, integrating all emotions, finding more helpful truths, and increasing understanding of our incredible but confusing brain. I have also helped people who are trying to learn more about themself, including spiritual or religious beliefs, sexuality, gender identity, and how to be an individual while or after being a family member or partner.
Helping individuals feel confident and to truly connect to their whole self is my passion. I would enjoy guiding you towards emotional regulation, authenticity, clarity and stability. Everyone deserves mental and emotional wellness. I want to be present for your story. Take a step towards your own healing by giving me a call for a free consultation. Your mental health counseling may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance. You are responsible for verifying your mental health (sometimes called behavioral health) benefits for counseling, the status of your deductible, and any limitations to your plan benefits. You are also responsible for any balance due for services, including situations in which you have not met your insurance deductible.
Please carefully check your coverage by asking the following questions
:
-
Do I have outpatient mental health insurance benefits?
-
What is my deductible and has it been met?
-
How does meeting my deductible influence my mental health coverage and how much I will pay?
-
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
-
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
-
Is my specific provider with Upstream Counseling Services LLC an in-network provider for my insurance plan?
